Hotel room safe boxes

Hotel Room Safes and Multi-User Safes are designed for multi-occupancy use in hotels, hospitals, nursing care homes and student accommodation for multi-user use so that any new user can program their personal code when opening or closing the safe. Standard digital electronic safes only allow a single user pin code that is permanently programmed unless the owner wishes to change the code.

All hotel room safes have the unique facility of having a master code or an override key as well in order for designated personnel to open the safe in an emergency or when the user/guest has left the safe locked after leaving the hotel.

Multi user in-room safes for hotels

What is the difference between a Hotel Safe and a Home Safe?
The only difference is the design and operation pf the lock. A hotel room safe is designed for multi-user use so it is ideal where the user of the safe is constantly changing - in a hotel of course, students accommodation and hospitals as well.  A Hotel Room Safe lock allows each user to set their own code when first using the safe - they find the safe door open on arrival, enter any preferred code, close the door and the safe can then only be opened by that same code. The next guest will then enter their own code to close the safe and so on.  A Home security safe, on the other hand, does not need a code to close the safe - just the pre-programmed code to open it. Our best selling brands include De Raat Hotel safes.

Electronic multi-user safes

Electronic multi-user safes are not just for hotel rooms, but are equally as useful in any situation where the user of the safe changes on a regular basis. The idea is that the safe door door is left ajar until a new user requires to use it. The ner user then enters any 4-6 digit code and closes the door to lock it. When this user wishes to collect the contents they then use the same code to open the safe before leaving the door ajar. It will not close and lock without the entry of a new code. So it is now ready for the new user. These multi-user safes are ideal for use in shared offices that have hot desks, safes for patient valuables in hospitals, student use in universities and student lodgings, - in fact anywhere where the safes will be not be used permanently by a single user.

Electronic laptop safes for multi-users

Although most hotel style safes in the past were purely for the security and storage of a passport, cash, mobile phones and jewellery lately there is a demand for wider safes that will also be large enough to accept laptops and tablets. The most popular models to suit this application are the Chubbsafes Air Hotel 25E and the Burton Primo Hotel Laptop safe.
