• Specific devices that can be purchased to hold your key

Solutions for Swimming and Exercise

Swimming facilities, gyms, and spas usually allow patrons the use of a locker to store their extra clothes, shoes, and other personal belongings. While this is a great feature to have you may be left wondering where to hide your key. A wrist strap, designed to hold a locker key is the perfect tool. Many of them are even created out of plastic so that you can wear them in pools, shower rooms, saunas, and any other damp locations. This Plastic Wrist Strap, suitable for Probe locker keys, is a waterproof adjustable strap that significantly reduces the risk of loss. If purchased by swimming or exercise facility, they can be numbered from 001-999 to correspond to the appropriate locker. They come in a range of colours to suit any taste.

Lanyards Have Myriad Uses

Lanyards are another favourite accessory used to carry school locker keys with ease. A lanyard is simply a cord or rope used to hold keys, I.D. tags, and other small objects around the neck. These keep your keys secure for the very fact that they’re visible on your body at all times. For an individual to steal the locker key, they would have to remove the lanyard physically from your neck.

Access Your Key with a Combination Lock Box

Another practical way to secure a locker key is with a keyless lock box. Quite often, multiple individuals need access to the same locker. But if there’s only one locker key, it may create confusion and stress. For that reason, a combination lock box may be an option. As long as all parties know the dial combination, then they can use it to retrieve the key, open the locker, and then put it back in the lock box.

Magnetic and Diversion Key Holders Are Inconspicuous

The last two ways to secure a locker key are with a magnetic or diversion key holder. A magnetic key holder adheres to any metal surface while a distraction key holder has a hollow opening but looks like an unobtrusive object (i.e. rock). Individuals in college or university can place their locker key in a magnetic holder then secure it to the underneath of their car.

Anyone one of these five methods may be suitable to secure a locker key. Depending on the purpose, and environment, identify the most logical one for you.
