Traffic-Line Speed Reduction Bumps for safety

Choose our modular Traffic-Line speed reduction bumps to improve safety. They are in modular form so can be extended to fit any road width. Choose from two models to either reduce speed to 10mph or down even further to 5mph. They are easily seen by oncoming motorists due to the colour combination of black and yellow to indicate a hazard

Where can you legally use Speed Ramps?

In the UK speed reduction bumps can only be used if they comply with the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999. The criteria is that they can only be placed on roads where the statutory speed limit is 30mph or lower and there is prominent road signage and good quality strreet lighting. The maximum height is between 25 and 100mm and the ramps must not be less than 900mm in length. This will ensure that the maximum gradient is no more than 1:10 to promote safety.
