To determine which is most suitable for your needs you need to look at:
A) What is the total value of the goods I want to protect?
B) What is the volume or size of what I want to protect?
This will give you the necessary "cash rating" for the safe and the actual size you need.
E.g. If you want to store under £1000 cash or under £10000 valuables you need a safe with a cash rating of £1000 (you multiply the cash rating by 10 where you are storing items which are not cash).
Under £3000 cash (£30,000 valuables) you need a safe with a cash rating of £3000
under £6000 cash (£60,000 valuables) you need a safe with a cash rating of £6000.
All security safes on this site clearly show the cash ratings.
Fire resistant safes offer only limited protection for computer media. To protect computer media you need a "fire resistant data safe"
