WHAT SAFE DO I NEED?

There are three different types of safe available:

1. SECURITY SAFES - designed to look after cash & valuables.

2. FIRE RESISTANT SAFES - designed to protect valuable paper documents in the event of a fire. Will not protect computer data.

3.
FIRE RESISTANT DATA SAFES - designed to protect valuable computer & plastic media in the event of a fire.

DELIVERY If you require delivery via stairs, steps, lifts, or any other obstacle please complete our delivery questionnaire for a quotation.
Security Safes come in differing sizes and specifications. They offer good protection from thieves provided they are secured to a floor or wall (unless they weigh above 1000kg) but do not offer any real protection for goods in a fire. Eurograde safes with VdS test cerificates offer the most secure protection. Our high Security safes offer cash protection up to £100,000 and offer protection for valuables to £1 million.

For fire protection see "fire resistant safes" and "fire resistant data safes"

To determine which is most suitable for your needs you need to look at:

A) What is the total value of the goods I want to protect?
B) What is the volume or size of what I want to protect?

This will give you the necessary "cash rating" for the safe and the actual size you need.
E.g. If you want to store under £1000 cash or under £10000 valuables you need a safe with a cash rating of £1000 (you multiply the cash rating by 10 where you are storing items which are not cash).

Under £3000 cash (£30,000 valuables) you need a safe with a cash rating of £3000
under £6000 cash (£60,000 valuables) you need a safe with a cash rating of £6000.

All security safes on this site clearly show the cash ratings.
Fire safes are available in differing sizes. Fireproof safes have a prime purpose to protect valuable documents in a fire but some fire safesoffer protection against theft. The fire safes which offer protection from theft as well as fire are clearly listed with a "cash rating."

Fire resistant safes offer only limited protection for computer media. To protect computer media you need a "fire resistant data safe"

Tax records, Customer lists, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Insurance policies, Deeds, Wills, Company Registration certificates, This is the kind of information vital to every business. And this kind of information requires protection from the elements : for your business' survival, and your peace of mind.

A Fireproof safe, Fireproof filing cabinet or a Fireproof cupboard is the answer.

You need fire resistant storage that:
- Provides guaranteed fire protection
- Fits your storage capacity requirements
- Is tested to rigorous fire regulations
- Matches office size and decor
- Offers quality and trouble-free fire protection products
- Meets your budget
If this what you are looking for, look no further.
Computer media is more vulnerable to heat than paper and therefore the products in this category are designed to offer more substantial fire protection.

Our fire resistant media safes are designed to look after all kinds of computer media and other types of plastic media such as Negatives, VHS tapes, CD, Microfiche in fact any valuable plastic or man-made materials. If you want to protect your valuable back up data from fire it should only be placed in this type of product.

Fire can strike anywhere and at any time and when it does it can be devastating.
